Home Finds

I started with a few home deals and, as usual, ended up with chairs, rugs, beds, and things I didn’t know existed until today. There are some really good finds in here, though especially if you’ve been waiting to finish a room or replace something that’s been bothering you.

Modular Loveseat + Ottoman

A sofa you can change your mind about

The movable ottoman is what got me with this one. Put it on either side when you want to stretch out, pull it away for extra seating, or move the whole setup around when you’re ready for a change. It’s a smart option for a smaller living room where your furniture needs to do more than one thing.

Mid-Century Accent Chair

That empty corner finally has a purpose

This is the kind of chair I’d use to finish a room without spending a fortune trying to fill it. Add it to a bedroom corner, next to a little table in the living room, or make yourself a reading spot. Simple, cute, and easy to work into what you already have.

Christopher Knight Home Dina Chair

Small chair, really good-looking corner

This one caught my eye because it’s low and compact, but it doesn’t look like “small-space furniture.” The brown bouclé and wood give it a warm, cozy look, and at about 26 inches wide, you don’t need a huge room to make it work.

Roundhill Tuchico Accent Chair

For when the room needs something but you don’t know what

Sometimes another beige pillow isn’t going to do it. 😂 A patterned chair gives you color and personality in one shot, and you can pull colors from the fabric for pillows or accessories later.

VASAGLE Side Table with Charging Station

Okay, the outlets sold me

It’s a narrow side table, so that’s already useful beside a sofa or bed—but then they put the charging station right in the table. No extension cord snaking across the floor and no crawling behind the sofa looking for an outlet. This is one of those small ideas that just makes sense.

A pretty rug you don’t have to be scared of

This is the kind of rug that makes sense in a house where people actually live. It’s washable and pet-friendly, so a muddy paw, spilled drink or kid-related mystery doesn’t automatically mean your rug is ruined.

Boring purchase. Very satisfying result.

Nobody is coming over and complimenting your rug pad. But they’ll also not watch your rug slide across the floor every time somebody walks over it. 😂 The felt-and-rubber design adds grip and a little cushioning without adding a ton of height.

Ohniyou Low-Profile Ceiling Fan + Light

For anyone who hates the look of ceiling fans

This one doesn’t have that big, traditional ceiling-fan look. It sits closer to the ceiling and combines the fan and light in a much more streamlined fixture. You still get the air movement. you just don’t have to design the entire room around the fan.

Bedroom Finds

I am very easy to convince when the argument is “your bed could be more comfortable.” So yes, there are pillows, mattresses and beds in here.

The deal that might ruin your morning routine

Medium-firm memory foam, zoned support and motion isolation,which is especially nice if the person next to you flips around all night. And Casper includes a 100-night trial, which matters a lot more to me with a mattress than a fancy list of features.

Two pillows because apparently one good pillow is never enough

These are made for back, side and stomach sleepers, and the covers are breathable and washable. I’m also a fan of this being a two-pack because nobody wants to discover their new favorite pillow and then fight over it.

The quickest “I did something to the bedroom” fix

You don’t always need a makeover. Sometimes fresh bedding, made-up pillows and five minutes of actually putting things away will do it. 😂 This set gives you the comforter and matching shams, so the bed looks pulled together without much work.

Pretty bed up top. Storage opportunity underneath.

I like a bed with enough clearance underneath to actually use the space. Extra blankets, shoes, off-season clothes—whatever is currently stealing closet space can disappear under there. And because it’s a platform bed, you don’t need a box spring.
